Why AC-DC Compatibility Matters
Many Indian motorcycles (Hero Splendor, Bajaj Platina, TVS Jupiter, Honda Activa) use AC-powered headlight circuits from the magneto/stator. Standard DC-only LED bulbs flicker on these systems. The Royal Gold 180W’s built-in AC-DC driver automatically detects and regulates both AC and DC power for flicker-free operation on any vehicle — no conversion kits needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work on my motorcycle AC electrical system?
Yes — the AC-DC driver automatically detects AC power from magneto systems and delivers flicker-free light at full brightness. No DC conversion kit needed.
Is this really 180W?
180W is the equivalent brightness rating. Each bulb draws approximately 45W effective power, producing 16,000-18,000 lumens per pair.
Do I need a CAN-bus adapter?
For Indian vehicles (Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Bajaj, Hero), no. For European cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi), a CAN-bus decoder may be needed.
Is it legal in India?
Yes. 6000K is within the permissible range for aftermarket headlights under AIS-008 standards.

The lower beam is a bit too low and should be higher. Also, the light is not as strong as a 180W light—it feels more like a 70W–100W light.
